Tea Factory Visits

Ella is surrounded by tea plantations, and several factories offer tours where visitors can learn about the tea-making process from leaf to cup. The Halpewatte Tea Factory is particularly popular, offering demonstrations and tastings of Ceylon tea, one of Sri Lanka's most famous exports.
